He is risen!

"On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' " Then they remembered his words."
Luke 24:1-8

  2. Whew- you have been busy! What inspiring posts! I love the "choose life" post. The fact that you don't have any pictures from the second day, but yet you lived it really spoke to me.

I also listened to Beautiful Scandalous Night about 20 times last night as I was working on a post. What a beautiful song!

I have yet to listen to Piper's message, but it's on my "to do" list because I really want to.

Thanks, Amanda. I hardly know you, yet I feel you are kindred. God uses you continue to sharpen me, "as iron sharpens iron" and I am grateful.

Not Me Mondays are confusing...even when I'm trying to write them, I get confused on whether I did it or not! LOL! It's a rainy day here, but the grass is a beautiful green!
Hope you had a wonderful Easter! (I really did!)

Tammi - Sounds like God has us both in a place where we are ministered to by the other...cause I feel the same way about you and your posts. Iron sharpening iron, for sure!
